Designed by Boon and Chris Johanson, with text by Glen Helfand and images and additional text by Johanson. Published in a limited edition of 1,000 copies.
Accompanied by a loosely inserted, hand-drawn photocopied "Secret Snake" performance flyer giving an address and meeting time. Its precise authorship is unknown, and it is offered as accompanying period ephemera rather than as an original Johanson drawing.
An uncommon early publication by the influential San Francisco Mission School artist, issued during the year of Johanson's participation in the 2002 Whitney Biennial.
Fine condition. A bright, clean and exceptionally well-preserved copy with only the slightest signs of handling. Interior pages are clean and firmly bound, without ownership inscriptions or markings. The separate flyer has its original folds, light edge wear and a small loss at the lower-left edge, as shown.
