RARE 1971 UNDERGROUND Newspaper, "KISS", EAST VILLAGE OTHER, Vol 3, No 5

KISS, Vol. 3 No.5 1971 This underground adult newspaper from New York, published in the late 1960s to early 1970s.

KISS was part of the East Village Other's spinoff publications, launched in 1969. It was known for its provocative covers, erotic content, and countercultural satire. The tagline "Adult Type Material" and sensationalist headlines like "Girl With A College Degree" were part of its tongue-in-cheek, transgressive style. Interesting insights into the East Village Scene of that period.
