First edition of Andy Warhol: Il Cenacolo, by Alexandre Iolas, published in Milan in 1987 by Arnoldo Mondadori Editore and Edizioni Philippe Daverio in conjunction with the exhibition held at the Refettorio delle Stelline.
An important late Warhol publication devoted to his celebrated reinterpretations of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper. Illustrated throughout with Warhol's variations on the image, including striking double-page color reproductions and related works.
The exhibition was organized by Credito Valtellinese as a tribute to Warhol and presented in Milan in 1987. Italian text.
Softcover with illustrated wrappers.
Condition: Fine. Exceptionally clean, bright and well-preserved copy with crisp pages and vivid reproductions. Binding tight and sound. Covers show only minimal shelf wear. No writing, markings or notable defects observed.
